Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification is for anyone who currently works in construction or wants to work in construction, and also those already in the industry looking to refresh their knowledge. It is ideal for anyone wishing to apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Labourer Card (Green Card), necessary for work on a UK construction site.
The qualification assumes no prior knowledge and considers the fact that learners come from diverse education and employment backgrounds. The training is exceptionally easy to understand.
Having a valid CSCS card and passing the CITB test are both mandatory requirements of working in the construction industry because they grant non-skilled workers access to UK construction sites.
This course provides you with everything you need to know about maintaining and improving health and safety at work. It delivers essential knowledge about key terms, legal responsibilities and reasons for good health and safety on a construction site.
You will also learn about personal protective equipment, emergencies, accident reporting, and dealing with ill-health within the construction environment. Successful qualification will earn a candidate four credits.
The course will be delivered at our London Bridge office.
This is a one (1) day classroom based training course.
The fee for this course is £150 + VAT. Please see payment terms below.
