Level 3 Certificate in Healthcare and Social Care Support
The Level 3 Certificate in Health and Social Care has been designed to enable learners to access Higher Education or assist with progression into the workplace. The content of the qualification covers core content that applies to the adult social care sector with a variety of optional units covering additional knowledge and skills applicable to learners in level 3 roles.
This is a suitable qualification for those who are just starting employment in the social care industry or those who are already working as a social care assistant/worker.
The awarding organisation for this qualification is ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
The specification for the qualification has been approved by the Welsh Government for use by centres in Wales and by the Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) for use by centres in Northern Ireland.
The qualification has been accredited onto the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF).
