The following NVQ Diploma qualification structure for cranes and specialist lifting details the units that must be completed in order for a candidate to be granted the qualification, which attests to their proficiency in setting up and using cranes or other specialized lifting equipment in the construction sector.

Candidates who achieve the requirements for qualifications will be awarded:
Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations - (Construction)
The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) provides skills cards for the plant sector of the construction and allied industries.
The ProQual Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Plant Operations (Construction) qualification provides a nationally recognised qualification for plant operatives following one of 15 Pathways relating to their work roles:
The awarding body for these qualifications is ProQual Awarding Body and the regulatory body is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification.
ASQ will carry out an initial assessment of candidate skills and knowledge to identify any gaps and help plan the assessment.
Each candidate is required to produce a portfolio of evidence which demonstrates their achievement of all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for each unit.

A 50% deposit is all you need to get started with the second 50% payment due before your certificate is issued.
