Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision
The Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Occupational Work Supervision (Construction) qualification provides the opportunity for individuals who supervise others in a relevant construction occupational area to demonstrate their competence.
The awarding organisation for this qualification is ProQual. This qualification is regulated by the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation (Ofqual) and the Council for the Curriculum Examinations and Assessment (CCEA) Regulation.
Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) includes those qualifications regulated by Ofqual and CCEA Regulation
Course Content
The course includes six modules and an onsite assessment visit. You study one module per month and the qualification should take approximately nine months to complete.
- Introduction, NVQ induction and health and safety
- Leadership and management
- Communication and customer care
- Environment and sustainability
- Planning, programming and logistics
- Resource management (cost, cash and risk)
- Onsite assessment visit
- Assessment workshop (if required).
Mandatory entry requirements
You should be working as a site supervisor or assistant site manager in any construction trade occupation, for example:
- Site carpentry
- Bricklaying
- Roofing
- Partition/Cladding
